Vermont's Local Banquet

Launched in 2007, Vermont's Local Banquet is a quarterly magazine that focuses on local food, farming, and community in Vermont. Each issue features articles, essays, and interviews about the relationship between local agriculture and local people. Stories often touch on the challenges and opportunities facing Vermont farmers, the ways in which individuals and towns are taking responsibility for their regional food system, and the state legislation that either helps or hinders access to local food. The magazine also publishes original writing by Vermont farmers, so that the voices of people who grow and raise our food are heard.

In addition to being the editor Local Banquet, I have written some pieces for the magazine. Please see the navigation bar at left, as well as the Essays page.
